My lifelong endeavor, and the work I hope defines my career, is rooted in inspiring the next generation to pursue their ambitions with confidence, no matter how large those ambitions may be.
My goal is clear. Every child in Annapolis, and across Maryland, should grow up knowing their State Delegate believes in them, supports them, and stands beside them throughout their journey.
As your Delegate, I will support legislation and state funding that expands access to education, strengthens workforce pathways, and invests in community based youth programs.
I will work tirelessly to turn this vision into a lasting reality for our families and our future.
The Issue
Maryland’s pollinators are disappearing at an alarming rate. Habitat loss, pesticide exposure, and environmental degradation threaten not only honeybees, but our entire food system and local ecosystems. This is not an abstract environmental issue. It impacts agriculture, public health, and long term economic stability.
How a State Delegate Can Help
Local efforts alone cannot address statewide environmental decline. The State of Maryland plays a central role in land use policy, agricultural standards, environmental regulation, and conservation funding. Effective solutions require state level leadership that respects science, supports responsible farmers, and invests in sustainable practices.
My Commitment
As a beekeeper and lifelong steward of our local environment, I understand firsthand how fragile these systems have become. I will advocate for policies that protect pollinators, strengthen conservation programs, and promote responsible environmental management across Maryland.
What Success Looks Like
This is about preserving what sustains us while ensuring Maryland remains productive, healthy, and economically strong.
From recurring flooding at our City Dock to challenges affecting our streets, neighborhoods, and local economy, these conditions directly impact residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
Effective solutions require coordination beyond the municipal level. Strategic partnership between the City of Annapolis and the State of Maryland allows infrastructure investments, resilience planning, and transportation improvements to move forward comprehensively rather than in isolation.
Through clear state level engagement, we can improve quality of life across Annapolis while making more effective use of both city and state resources. This approach supports solutions that are fiscally responsible and built to withstand long-term regional challenges.
As your Delegate, I will work at the state level to secure infrastructure funding and coordinate with city and county partners to deliver durable local solutions.
